Another excellent comedy by the well-known and popular French comedy writer from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries Georges Feydeau again draws material from the environment of the high society of the great city of his time. We enter the salon in the flat of a young singer and artist, who is about to marry a charming young man. But she does not guess that the previous night, which she spent with him, will be their last. He has decided for another woman and is coming to inform her. His future wife comes at this most inconvenient moment to ask the singer to sing at the wedding reception, and so start a series of comic situations, misunderstandings, so human and so extraordinary and witty, that sometimes you are only sorry for the protagonists, where their inability to speak the truth gets them. However, the laughter is really pure in this case and brings more catharsis than only ironic grins over the destinies of the heroes of this excellent Feydeau comedy.
