Neil Simon´s comedy is very much at home on the stage of the Slovak National Theatre; it is one of the most successfully staged plays so far. It premiered at SND´s Malá Scéna Theatre in 1974 and ran for six seasons, with two great maestros: Martin Gregor and Ladislav Chudík in the leading roles. The key to the success of this evergreen is a skilfully written story of two aging vaudeville stars, living in an actors´ retirement home. Wonderfully epic moments alternate with human tragedy, tried and tested gags with the whims of two old and grumpy men. A great topic and a challenging opportunity for two brilliant actors, this time Marián Labuda and Emil Horváth.

The production is made in cooperation with National Theatre Brno.

Running time: 2 hrs 30 mins with one interval
