There is no basic repertoire without Sleeping Beauty, which is the Chef’s d’oeuvre among all ballets. This work of two geniuses - Russian composer P. I. Tchaikovsky and French choreographer M. Petipa is based on a fairy tale La Belle au bois dormant by Ch. Perrault. It is a ,ballet á grand spectacle" from the end of the 19th century.

It is, without doubt, the music that has made the ballet so attractive.
